This is a beautiful historic home that has been renovated and restored and turned into a bed and breakfast right off of Main Street. The lady who owns the home is very friendly and cordial and made our stay much more special. She gives you a key to the house and you let yourself in and out. You can explore the house and the gardens on your own. Her breakfast is a full one -- biscuits, homemade jams, eggs cooked to order, hash browns, bacon, juice, coffee -- all served on china and crystal. We spent the weekend and she even grilled steaks for us one night at no additional charge. Our room had a beautiful antique bed, sitting area, separate private bathroom, jacuzzi tub, and separate shower. The owner also has photo albums that show the whole renovation process. It is truly a great place to visit for a weekend getaway!
