Excellent
Nice place to stay and reasonable price. Good resturant and Desktop PC in lobby was a plus. One small cobweb in upper left corner of room, but other than that, a find.

Excellent
This hotel was purchased last summer by the new owners. The staff is top rate. The car service really made my trip an easy one. I will stay here everytime I am in St. Louis.

Horrible
It is conveniently placed to Clayton business.Dilapidated.“This was a great hotel with good dinning 10years ago. It has lost its paint, its overall ambiance, and the restaurant is terrible. The personnel is not rude, they do not care enough for that....

29 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
I chose this hotel based on its website and location, which is near the Galleria mall and the Pageant Theatre.
When I arrived, no one was at the front desk, and when someone came, she explained to me their computers were down and they had to do everything manually. We got to our room, a king size bed, and everything was old. I am not a snob, but I was curious about the fire codes being met, as the outlets and switches seemed old, as did the air conditioning vent. There was a dark stain on our bedspread, and another dark stain on the side of the mattress. When I went into the bathroom to take a shower, I noticed several hairs, in the tub and on the wall, leading me to believe it hadn't been cleaned. Aside from that, everything about the hotel was old and worn (carpet, elevator, even the luggage carriers were unbelievably old and dirty).
To their credit, the people were friendly. But when I spend money for a 3.5 star hotel I do expect the room to be clean. The walls are also paper-thin, and the television remote control was so old that it shocked my boyfriend when he tried to use it! I do not recommend this hotel at all.
