Travelers Beware! Must Pay In full No... – Posted Jul 17, 2009

Horrible
traveling for leisure

Like?...you mean the dirty floors, strong cat pee smell in hall leading to beach, unsanitary looking indoor pool, overflowing and stinking garbage in stairwells, smokers hanging out at building entrances, rude, nasty-spirited and uncaring hotel staff, fans not dusted since hotel built, backed-up kitchen sink, doors coming off hinges or the great view of the cheap hotel and garbage dumpster next door? So much to choose from...Go to any of the timeshares north of this location and walk in. You will most likely find a room available from better educated and appreciative staff who dont call a metal building their home. Cove...Thanks, but no thanks!

Horrible

6-7 month reservation. IGNORED. Given a lesser room and then was told to TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT by the manager. Similar treatment to other guests and staff even mentioned how this is common treatment. BOYCOTT THE COVE.

Stayed there for bike week. Loved the rooms, Hotel was clean.

Only down fall was parking. It was limited to 1 car per room. Other than that I loved it.

Excellent

The Cove is a group of condos that can be rented by the night or longer. The staff is friendly and will make sure you have a comfortable stay. A large group of family and friends rented out several of the condos and had a great time over a long...

Good
60 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

I took my Dad to this property in November, 2007 for a week. We stayed in the South Tower, 1 bdr. condo. The condo was excellent for guests who are looking for a place where they can cook (full kitchen,) do laundry (apt. sized washer and dryer,) inside the unit, two plasma televisions, a smaller one in the bedroom and a larger in the livingroom area, there was also a DVD player. The unit also had a dish washer.

This is not a place for people who are looking for a fully-serviced hotel. The parking was free. The property is directly on the ocean. Great for guests who want to walk on the beach, which wasn't overly crowded until you reached the Daytona area. The unit was nicely furnished, queen bed in the bedroom (comfortable) and a pull-out couch (not so comfortable,) but worked for us. Living room which also had a table and chairs for eating meals. My Dad enjoyed the jacuzzi bathtub. The balconies were very small but had an ocean-view. There was a small, inside swimming pool and a large outside pool complex that looked great for families with a water slide. The pool was shallow. There were ample chaise lounges and tables around the pool area. We thoroughly enjoyed this property.

We had an opportunity to look through the two bedroom units in the South Tower. They looked superb. A king bed and ensuite with a 2 person jacuzzi. The second bedroom had two double beds and there was also a pull-out couch. The suite looked great!
