The Chateau Inn and Suites Resort - Page 1

I booked a reservation there to go snowboarding in early December. When making the reservation, I made sure that I would be able to cancel if it did not snow enough. The man told me I had until 2 pm the day before the reservation to cancel.

Two days before my trip, we decided there wasn't enough snow and called to cancel. I called and he cancelled my reservation and gave me a cancellation number. The night of my reservation the hotel called me and asked if I was coming. I had left my cancellation number on my desk at home, but was out of town for the weekend. I told him I had the number, but didn't have it with me. He charged me for the first night of our stay, and told me basically that I was lying and that I had never called.

I called him back after the weekend and told him the number I had been given. He told me that it was not one of their cancellation numbers and that he didn't know where I had gotten it from and that he was still going to charge me. I had the proof of my phone call from my cell phone company and the number he gave me and he still would not reverse the charges. Look at reviews on other sites and you will see that I am not the only person that has had a run-in with this hotel. All of the reviews on that website are negative! Do not stay in this hotel! He will find a way to rip you off like he did to me. I hope this helps you in your decisions.
