The Coastal North County San Diego location of the Cardiff by the Sea Lodge makes it the perfect place for romantics, tourists, families, and business travelers alike. The unique custom decorated rooms, flowering gardens and ocean view are sure to provide hours or days of quiet relaxation, and the freshly prepared continental breakfast can be enjoyed around terrace tables, on the splendid ocean view rooftop, or in the privacy of your room. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will direct you to the best places for local beach walking, surfing, swimming, dining, and shopping as well as to the well-known area attractions. All rooms have queen beds, private bathrooms, telephones and televisions. Many rooms have ocean views, whirlpool tubs, fireplaces, sofa sleepers, and flat screen televisions. Well, we stayed here becasue the reveiws were good and its close to the beach but that's about all it has. The rooms are not dirty but not clean, things are worn out, what we called "deferred maintenance" in my job. But worst is the loud bar next...
