Hi ! In traveling here I found your location on the map as incorrect. The Motel is located in the center of Guernsey on US 26 , The rooms are warm and comfortable The continental breakfast is also a nice touch , the lodge is beautiful and we received a warm welcome, we didn't expect to have wireless internet access and that was also cool. The rate was reasonable $60.00 for two people , What happened to the $100.00 per night ;-) I would recommend this place to all! besides you can park right in front of your room, I get tired of those hallways and stairs. sincerely , G S

I have been coming to the Bunkhouse Motel for years and it is a wonderful place to stay. The whole place is neatly decorated with a rustic Western feeling making you feel cozy and adding character to your stay. The owner is an interesting man full of stories, and he is around most of the time to help with any issues. I have noticed over the years that there has been a wave of employment that goes from enthused, hard-working employees to employees who don't think about the business so much. I believe it must be hard finding good help in a small town without having a family unit like most motels. Besides some weak employment, the place has always met my needs and I always make reservations for this motel when I'm in the area.

We made a reservation for this place a month in advance. We get there at 2:30 in the afternoon and they said sorry, we overbooked our rooms. A family reunion came in and they gave them all the rooms instead of honoring their reservations. They did have our phone number but never bothered to call. The boy working there called the manager but she did not care about it and said to offer us a discount on the room in the basement. They offered us the basement for $10 less but the room was very very small, stunk and had no bathroom. They said we could use the bathroom upstairs. The bed was a sofa that made into a bed. The boy offered us a discount next time we come thru, but we will never patronize a place that does not honor their reservations, the Sagebrush Motel down the street is much better, does not look like much on the outside but offers a clean room and they are friendly people.
