If I'm going to spend a chunk of money, I would rather spend an extra 20-30 USD and receive good service. The staff of the Brown went far and above the call of duty - from the Front Desk's call to see if there was anythign I needed to the Valet attendant who tracked me down in the restaurant after searching my car for a missing cell phone.

We liked everything... the beautiful lobby, the gracious and friendly service, the bed, the bathroom, the feeling of another time and place, the quiet ambience. The only criticism is that the TV can only be viewed from the bed.
