It's an old hotel with plenty of character. My room was small but nicely appointed and very clean. The bedding was good quality; the shower was hot. Check in was smooth and friendly; parking was ample and free.

I was nervous about staying here after reading some reviews on various sites, but we had a wonderful stay. We had two rooms and they were very nice and definitely clean. We had plenty of space and had no problems with noise. The staff was friendly and helpful too! We also had a nice view of the river.

The hotel was excellent, charming and comfortable, with a service minded staff.
I received a warm welcome when I checked in. They gave clear answers to my questions and they solved problems. All the staff was understanding. They had a good breakfast buffet which was reasonably priced.
I am very likely
to return to the The Broadview Hotel.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
27 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for business
This was the worst trip that I had from a 3-star hotel. First the front desk clerk was rude. Second we had a room that was a wheal chair room and did not know until we went up to the room, when asked to change rooms, I was told that I would have to go to a smoking room if I wanted anything different. Third the room had no heat, when it was 60 degrees outside, which caused me, wife, and my 2 year old daughter to shiver and sneeze all night, which resulted in me catching a cold. Fourth, one of the two elevators went out of service which made it inconvenient, because it was the only elevator working for the hotel. It was very disappointing, because of the location down town and it has a lot of history. I feel that it would be a better restaurant and museum, than hotel, because the food is great, but the room service is horrible, and it is a historical monument in Wichita.

This is the second time I have stayed at the Broadview. The air conditioner didn't work, the furniture was broken, the closet door was off the track and the cabinet doors were off and sitting on the floor. When I called the front desk, not only was the guy rude, he was not even apologetic for the conditions. He also insisted they were sold out (no other rooms) when a call through the travel agency was able to make a reservation. I will never return. They Hyatt will now get my return visits.

This hotel is easy to get to. The parking is not bad and they have friendly people in the bar. I only ate breakfast in the restaurant one time, but it was good.
