27 year old with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
I booked this hotel for one Saturday night in June 2007. Unfortunately, I found out four days before I was supposed to check in that I had to cancel the reservation, which I did. I found out later that the Boston Park Plaza charges one full night's stay, plus $25 to cancel a reservation. Since I had only reserved one night, I paid for a room I didn't sleep in. This is a ridiculous and unreasonable cancellation policy. Things come up, and with advance notice, which I gave, the hotel had plenty of time to find other occupants. Avoid booking a room in this hotel at all costs, unless you like to throw away your money.
