The Biltmore is an absolutely gorgeous hotel that you may remember from the movie Bad Boys. No, we did not stay in the Al Capone suite!
I know that this is going to sound silly, but I loved the bathroom. I love to take long baths or showers and it really stinks when you don't feel that you can relax and do that in a hotel bathroom. It was very clean, well-appointed and had everything I could want within reach.
The pool was huge, which for me was great because I love to swim. There's a golf course too, which my boyfriend played on. He loved it (I'm not a golf person) and still talks about his games played there. The only thing that I might call a problem is that you will need a car if you're staying here, especially if you want to go to South Beach, since it's a good 45 minute drive to get there from here (you can rent a car at the hotel, but it will be more cost-effective to do it at the airport).
Things are not cheap here, so if you're looking to save money and have a cheap stay, this is not a place you should go to. There is a great spa onsite and if you want to make a good trip even better, go there and try their services and eat at the restaurants, too. You'll leave planning another trip. We are!
