Great hotel, employees, and service – Posted Jan 10, 2009

Excellent

Great place to stay. Quiet, clean, elegant, great pool, and very easy to reach. Staff was there always to give out a map and instructions on how to get to nearby places, very friendly atmosphere. I'm happy to say I made a good choice. I highly...

Mediocre
42 year old male with a moderate budget

Night 1: too hot or you freeze> Heat/AC unit with thermostat not working ,the front desk told me "well they are not supposed to have a thermostat on them"

Night 2: No hot water in any room on the floor.

- Ice machine not working we had to go 2 floors up for that,

pool out of order

+ rooms were clean and the maids were good.

we moved a few streets over to the Hilton for a few bucks more and that was a really nice place, wish we had of booked there to begin with.

Conveniently located close to many restaurants and shops, this hotel has a great staff and simple and tasteful decor. Great for smaller or medium sized events or families with children.

Good
55 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

My husband and I have just returned to London after staying 7 nights in the Best Western- New Englander. We found the hotel provided everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. I cannot fault the service we received throughout our stay. The king-size bed had a new pillow-top mattress and the sheets and pillows were immaculate. There was also the added bonus of a complimentary breakfast every morning with a good choice to suit all tastes. There was 24 hour internet access available and ample parking. The location is perfect for heading off in any direction as it is just next to junction 36 on Highway 93. Some of our trips included visiting New Hampshire, Maine and Cape Cod. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to others who are looking for brilliant value at half the price of other hotels in the Boston area. We visit Boston twice a year and have stayed in many different hotels but now that we have found this little gem we shall not be staying anywhere else except at the Best Western-New Englander.

I loved the hotel! I enjoyed my stay immensely. The wonderful staff was so kind, friendly and helpful. The hotel shuttle van was a huge help to me! The only problem was that the room heater never put out anything but cold air when the temperature went dow

I felt inspired to stay at a Best Western hotel whenever I travel in the future. They have a homey feel and a nice staff.

I am very likely to return to the The Best Western New Englander.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Good

Stayed 3 nights.

Pros:

Room was clean and comfortable and relatively quiet. Good value for $85 with easy access to the I-93.

Cons:

Paid for microfridge in room, but was not included in actual room. In theory,...

I thought it was a nice hotel, however if I hadn't gotten the discount price online, I probably wouldn't have paid full price for the room.

The person at the front desk was very nice when I went to check in, I arrived a little early and the room wasn't ready but he told me to have a seat and less then 10 minutes later I was in my room.

I am very likely to return to the The Best Western New Englander.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
