The place is great if you don't mind smashed bugs on the wall, non-working refrigerators, dirty windows, non-working internet, leaky faucets and non-working elevators. The staff is very nice. I see the problem as ownership or upper management.

I had a wonderful time at this hotel on my recent Daytona vacation. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Eli and April at the Tiki bar were wonderful. My only complaint would be the elevator closest to our room was down and the hottub. ...

Well... the pictures on the internet looked good, the price was right, but once we checked in, it all went downhill! Should have known when there weren't that many cars in the parking lot. Front desk clerk gives me keys to the room on the 5th...

A rack to hang our clothes was made for us as we were in the room. The Air and Heat until was replaced as soon as we checked into the room because of a loud noise.. There was no top sheat on the bed,which they did bring and placed on top of the bed...
40 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
Showed up to a friendly, tattoo'd peirced teenager and got checked in ok to our first room to find out the doors don't lock to the balcony, the kitchenette was a discrase! Cupboard doors falling off, bugs all over the counters and the drawars and dishes were filthy. Bathroom was dirty and carpet was stained terribly with who knows what. Our Ocean view consisted of the parking lot. Went to front counter and made a complaint about the room. was given room number 2, now on 4th floor, Kitchenette had no bugs, but the rest was teh same, bathroom was somewhat cleaner, but couldn't decide if dirt or stains and carpet stained. decided to put up with it and go for dinner, found out the Front door does not lock, do not need a keycard for to enter our room and no way to lock at all. So, back down to our front desk guy, still friendly and stated our issues. He asked the security guard that was watching tv to check on another room for security, he came back with well, didn't lock but if you play with this spring in the door it seems to lock and sat back down to the tv. I did not feel comfortable with having "play" with spring to make it seem to lock. front desk took action himself and found a secured room for us. So Room number 3, all locks work fine, could not use safe as was locked and had to wait till next day for maintenance to open safe. Kitchenette, same situations as others and bathroom somewhat clean. spend 5 days there and never had a shower that got above Luke warm for temperature with no water pressure. Tiki bar was open and was good. never used teh pool and spa was broken. They stated was renovated in 2007, but did not see signs of this with cupboard doors with swollen wood and barely hanging onto the cupboards hinges themselves, carpets and Kitchette and bathroom other than beds were old and well used. two good things I can say, front desk was friendly and beds were comfy. Would i ever stay again? NO, I would not.
Guests have had valuables stolen from their rooms. I can't say the rooms were broke into, because there were no sign of breaking into. That leads me to believe somebody has a PASS key. There is a safe in the room, but it doesn't LOCK. BEWARE the hotel isn't a bargin when you have your laptop, camera, IPOD money and other misc. stolen.
