The Benjamin Hotel

Checked into The Hotel on 12/6/2007. Queen size room rate was $799.00

They said it was due to the Christmas season. I moved the rest of the nights to The Kimberly next door. I checked rates after for The Ritz across from Central Park and they had kings for $800.00. The Waldorf had Kings for $500.00. The Benjamin is a nice little Hotel but it is not the Ritz.

We got ineffective response to the lack of air conditioning. The pull out bed mattress was almost non existent. My complaints were not handled with dispatch and no discounting due to their ineffectiveness was offered.

The hotel has a great location, just blocks away from Broadway and Central Park. The staff was great. The pillow menu is a must try for all who stay there.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: The room quality was great. The staff pampered you and never made you feel like you were an inconvenience.
