I was so happy to find this hotel for a reasonable rate and great location. At first I was skeptical, but my cousin lives in the city so he checked it out for me after I made the reservation. The location was perfect, and the hotel was clean and adequate. No frills, but it left money to spend on other things in the city. Great Value. We didn't have a car, public transportation is great and easy to get around, so no hassles with expensive parking (which is a problem in any big city!). No HVAC but we the windows open and it cooled off no problems, just a bit of street noise since we were on the front (on Grant street). Pillows were lousy(even the replacement we requested), but we simply bought some cheap ones when walking by a discount store ($5 at Ross).
