The service was below average and our room had stained/dirty sheets. We cancelled our booking for the following night and we left feeling decidedly unimpressed

It's an outstanding hotel, with helpful personnel, excellent continental breakfast included, beautiful rooms, and in-room Ethernet. It's within walking distance to several restaurants and other merchants. It's highly recommended.

I am very likely to return to the The Ambrose Hotel.
