with a budget, traveling for leisure

My boyfriend and I stayed here this past weekend. We enjoyed our stay here 100%! Were from Southern Cali and visit Vegas a few times a year. We usually stay on the Strip, but this time were a little strapped for cash so we stayed at Terribles (which is just behind Bally's, walking distance to the Strip). Boy are we glad we did! The hotel was just renevated and the new rooms are great! Bathroom had a tub and granite counter tops, the room had a 42" plasma TV, great view of the pool, A/C, comfy beds, etc. We were also very impressed by the helpful staff, delicious $2.99 breakfast in the hotels cafe, and the $9.99 champagne breakfast buffet. We will be back and we highly recommend this place to anyone/everyone. A lot of locals, 24/7 security...long story short, BEST value in Vegas. We'll be back!! :)

The buffet was not clean, food was bland and the casino floor was crowded, not with people but with machines. Worn places on walls, floors and broken tiles in bathroom. I would not stay overnight!

They had nice rooms and good food. The hotel is located near the Strip.

This hotel made me feel welcome: The employees always greeted me. They asked about our stay when checking out.

I am very likely to return to the Terribles Hotel and Casino.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

56 year old male with a economy budget, traveling for leisure

My wife and I stayed at Terribles Hotel and Casino for the last four days and both felt that it was the best value we had ever had in Las Vegas.

They have a helpful staff, clean rooms (the bathroom was a bit small, but not worth complaining about.) Players club was worth it. The food was best of all. We had coupons from magazine and off line as well as with players club. (print coupons off line in advance) breakfast was only 4.99 but we had coupons for buy one get one free that we used every morning. So they were $2.49 each. Also, the sit down cafe meals were huge and very inexpensive.

It’s a 15 to 20 minute walk to the strip, it’s not too bad. Do not depend on the strip trolley it shows up if it feels like it (‘nuff said, I’m still mad). The city bus is 5 dollars a day if you know your way around the routes. (We spent 2 hours on it to go to the strip, bad advise) budget for some 15 to 20 dollar taxi rides. Don’t walk from strip late at night. I will stay at Terribles again, no doubt about it.

This is a place where lots of locals go to gamble, eat, and stay. The rooms are nice, think Super 8. The food deals are great. I even came out a little ahead on the gambling. They even have a nice pool and whirlpool.

If you do plan to gamble, get their player's card. You get a free t-shirt and lots of other discounts. Also, definitely ask for the steak dinner special, a 16 ounce T-Bone with all the trimmings for $7.95. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
