this was the dirtiest hotel i have ever stayed at. When we first got there the room had a disgusting musty smell there were stains on the vinyl floor in the bathroom and the kitchen. We had the room with the kitchenette and i would not cook food for a convicted murderer on/in that stove. The bathroom was so small you could barley turn around, it had a stand up shower that i banged my elbows while showering. You are allowed only minimal ice from the machine, the pool is small and the owner was rude. If they had pictures on the internet of the rooms i would never have stayed there and once you give your credit card information you have to stay otherwise they charge you for the whole stay anyway. I was told (by the owner) that they pride themselves on being a family hotel but they forgot to say that it was was the bates family hotel. The whole place looks and smells dirty. do yourselves a favor and pay the extra money to get a room that you can and would actually cook in.

As a child, my parents took us to Tarheel Motel every summer for our vacation. It is filled with memories and my family and I continue to use the facility.
