The hotel and room were nice, comfortable, and enjoyable. The room view was of nothing, which would actually make me look elsewhere for future lodging needs. I was somewhat surprised it took quite some time before the room was ready when requested.

The location was perfect, the comfort and the service were exactly what I expected from the Ritz hotel. For tourists it is a perfect location for shopping, walking and sightseeing.

just too expensive - but of course it is. I dunno, maybe it's me... I just think spending $a night on a room when I can spend half that and get pretty much the same experience without the snotty back bay locals sticking their noses at me for wearing shorts into the hotel isn't worth it. The place is amazing, don't get me wrong. I just have stayed at nice hotels around the city and spent a lot less. Basically, if you're a Ritz person, you wouldn't be reading this review anyway. You probably would have your assistant do it.

We stayed one night at the Ritz Carlton in Boston in May. The room was very nice and probably the best sleep we had while on vacation. But if the room is going to be that expensive, the least they could do is have a coffee pot in the room. They have all the liquor available, but no coffee.

I liked the quietness in the city. I liked the convenience and location of the hotel. The staff was pleasant.

My stay was great but it was only for one night.

This hotel made me feel pampered: The hotel robes were great. They put clean towels in your room and empty the trash when you are out to dine.

This hotel has an amazing location in Boston. Close proximity to shopping, food, and sight-seeing. The king size beds are exquisitely comfortable and the room service menu delivers great after hours treats.

This hotel made me feel welcome: Every person working at the hotel, from the doorman to the service staff, went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. The reception was warm and friendly, and everything was as we had expected for our room.

I liked the location, the newness and friendly service. It was also exciting seeing Manny Ramirez and Howie Long there!

I was charged for mini-bar products I did not use. But the problem was resolved

The Ritz-Carlton Boston hotel was very nice and elegant; it was like walking into another world. The staff was very nice, respectful, and knowledgeable about everything we needed to know for our stay and the city of Boston. It was just a wonderful experience -- you can't go wrong with a fireplace and having someone come to your room to fire it up for you! It was a wonderful experience!

They have been forced by circumstances to allow attire and conduct they didn't before: denim, cell phone use in bars and restaurants, feet on furniture, etc. I don't like it but I don't think things are materially different elsewhere.

It is the finest hotel in Boston and I have stayed there for 50 years.

It was my best stay in a hotel. In fact, it was the best vacation-related experience I have ever had. Quite simply, it was superb.

This hotel made me feel extravagent: It had a level of exclusivity and luxury which was beyond the level of experience in my daily life.
