I went to Vegas with my dad who is an owner and we got the 2 bed room suite. I had the whole one side of the suite to myself, meaning i had my own kitchenette and bathroom and the kitchenette was fully equipt with standard kitchen supplies. I loved the pools and hot tub even though it was too hot to actually use the hot tub. I've been hearing bad things about the customer service at this resort and the tahiti villiage but my experience with the staff was perfect. Of course they werent harrassing me about purchasing timeshares but they did kinda bother my dad but not that bad. I am returning to Vegas with my friends this year and I have decided to try the tahiti village because the rooms are bigger and its newer and i figure if i liked tahiti i will LOVE tahiti village so i'm hopeing for a pleasant stay
We just got back from a week at Tahiti Village.
We traded a week of a two bedroom stay at the Marriott Desert Springs Villas II (Palm Desert, CA) for a lockout at the Tahiti Village. The accommodations are OK, there's only a microwave and a small fridge without a freezer. There is no in-room wireless or wired internet.
The place is crawling with salespeople and to get outside you have to "run the gauntlet"! it's certainly a 3 1/2 star resort at best! The Marriott is building a timeshare one block off the strip across from the new City Center (Marriott Grand Chalet). I toured that and was impressed. It's several orders of magnitude nicer and, hard as it is for me to believe, a two bedroom timeshare there is selling for half of what Tahiti Village is selling theirs for. I should also mention that Tahiti Village is also very noisy as it is right by the airport!
I liked the fact that it was clean and friendly feeling. It also felt extravagant. However, the price was low.
This hotel made me feel welcome: Upon arriving there were two people to help us find out how the process worked. These people gave us their undivided attention.
The location is very convenient. There is a free shuttle bus to the Strip. It is near Orleans Casino. It is also close to Denny's restaurant, Walgreen's and a mall.
