The staff was very helpful and courteous.Best to use the hotel van service rather than worry about parking a car. This is a wonderful, historic hotel with polite and helpful staff. We had a great stay there. Be sure to search for the best rates...

History.Bad parking options but it is San Diego. The location is perfect for getting around San Diego. The lobby and my room was well maintained and spacious. A hotel with historical charm and ambiance.

many ammenieties listed were not available Although the hotel itself is a beautiful historic building, our stay overall was not a good one. Many very basic ammenities were not in working order. Our mini fridge was not working, cd player and alarm...

I was pleased to see this hotel before the major renovation. It is a classic grand hotel. Does not apply because the Grant Hotel will be completely different after it reopens.
