The European-styled hotel is located on Park Avenue at 56th Street, and is just one block from Madison Avenue and 5 blocks from Central Park. The rooms are comfortable, relaxing and well equipped with all the essentials you need, and high-speed internet access. The suites and executive suites are alot more spacious and some have terraces. The hotel restaurant, Q56 offers a good selection of food and there are also a number of cocktails and wines available. Be warned that room service, although 24 hours, is very expensive! The Spa & Fitness center is well equipped with sauna/steam rooms and is a nice place to relax after the hectic pace of the city, with many beauty and massage treatments available. A personal trainer is also available on request. The staff here are friendly, welcoming and well informed.

I took my daughter to New York for her 18th birthday. The hotel was wonderful and guess what..... Jessica Simpson was staying there and my daughter got to meet her. Best birthday present ever! Let's not forget the shopping & the great food.
We had a great time in the "CITY" it was close to Time Square, but off the path. Service was excellent and the doorman was so efficient in getting our taxis and such. Our rooms were spacious and immaculate. The small spa and exercise room...
The location was perfect and the staff went out of their way to assist us with information on ski packages, tours and shopping. The service was great! The complimentary breakfast was a real treat and a money saver. We met other guests from all over...

I thought the hotel was a very good value for the price, particularly given that hotels in the New York area tend to be more expensive and to have smaller rooms than those in other markets. The location was fantastic, convenient to Central Park, Midtown and the Theatre District. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
The location was next to a Fauchon store, a famous Parisian chocolatier.
I am very likely
to return to the Swissotel New York, The Drake.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

In all it was a positive experience. The hotel is in a very good location, close to the park and near restaurants. I had a great room and a wonderful bed! The service was pleasant, as to be expected at a four stars hotel.
It is a nice hotel, it feels good walking in and going to your room with the likes of the other people who are there. It is wonderful to walk into a beautiful old hotel and call it home for a day.
