44 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
I loved it. I just came back yesterday 8/28/2007. I was their with my husband and 4 year old twins. The room was extremely clean, the staff was super friendly. The pool was kept very clean and I will definetly stay their again next year for more time.

After reading older reviews, it became obvious that this place has been renovated or people are blind (obviously the 1st). The place is GORGEOUS, with salt & freshwater aquariums in the walls of lobby, restaurant & walking areas. Excellent breakfast with very clean restaurant(s). Pool is large & deck area is spacious ("Kiddie Pool" also). Poolside towels are always a plus to me. A small indoor bar with outside window access (from pool deck). Great "wash off shower" upon retuning from the beach area. Rooms very nice and immaculate. Cleaning staff very friendly as is the entire staff. THe location is great (near fishing area, Ponce Inlet, and the Nascar fans will be glad to see the close proximetey to the tracks). The place is gorgeous, the staff is excellent, rates unbelievable (affordable). We went on a Holiday weekend & were treated to an all you can eat Bar-B-Cue & pooldeck entertainment (live, not loud, music). I am hoping to get a room today. This will be our new spot to go when we head to beach. We live in Florida & have been to many of this areas hotels & found this to be the best. Great for families and not just for "older" people. My husband & I are "younger & have 2 kids who also can't wait to go back. How do you define "Older", anyway? The people whose ages were "older" than mine were as pleasant & enjoyable as those of our ages ( mid & late 30's). Hard not to enjoy this place no matter what age you are. Not a place I would stay at again

Mediocre
The room, hallway, and elevators were extremely outdated and in need of repairs. The carpet throughout the hotel was filthy and smelled bad. We wore our flip flops in the room because we were uncomfortable walking around barefooted. I told my...
