The Surf provides a quiet, homey retreat for us to re-connect as a couple. The kitchenette rooms allow us to shut the world out. It's close to major attractions & stores while maintaining the small town atmosphere. The staff is friendly and helpful, accommodating special needs when necessary. Our visits aren't complete without a stop at the local market to pick out dinner at the butchers counter. That store reminds us of our old hometown market,creaking wooden floors, butcher wearing white, clerks bantering with customers. The whole experience helps us slow down & remember what's really important... each other! With Lake Erie visible through the window we relax with dinner & drinks. I haven't found another vacation spot more relaxing & economical. The Surf Provides everything we need without breaking the bank!
