First double and maybe triple check your reservation we had a confirmation # and they did not have our room right. After check in with our confirmation number on the sheet she told me I did not have a reservation and argued with me at the front desk! It got even worse after that I did not feel comfortable staying there.
Housekeeping: Dovet severly stained, 2 of the 4 pillow cases were blood stained. Lamps and corners filthy. DO NOT use the air conditioning, when you pulled out the filter it was so packed with dirt/dust you could not get it back in (the outside was discolored and dirty so we checked the filter element). The window sill was crusty with a used q-tip laying on it and the screen had a hole patched with a piece of rolled up paper stuffed in it. Pool was cloudy with an underwater light fixture hanging loose in the water.
I had no problems during the stay here. The room was clean -- but was a bit worn. The parking lot was slightly dark and could use a few more lights. The room was a little more expensive than I thought it would be.

Okay
The price.Hard to get to from the north. More of our activities were from the north and we found it inconvenient to get back to the hotel at night. Good clean place to stay for the price. Very basic no frills.

We had a nice stay, no problems. The staff was very nice. It was clean. The only problem was the tile in the bathroom needs repairing. But thats not a major problem.
The person cleaning my room was friendly and polite. The person fixing the breakfast went out of his way to help.
I am very likely
to return to the Super 8 Sturgeon Bay.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

I usually stay at Super 8 motels when traveling for pleasure. I expect a clean, quiet, nonsmoking room with a good bed at a reasonable price, and the Super 8 motel typically delivers, in my opinion. The location of this hotel was good for my needs and the price was good.

My music group was being put up for one night to perform at the Maritime Festival. I wanted to stay an additional night on my own expense and instructed the desk clerk of this. She charged the museum which created quite a panic and ill will, as they
