Had to be there..Safety on door broken, linens were ripped and dirty looking. Refrig did not work, when reported, the clerk never offered to have it checked. Chair so dirty and stained we wouldn't use it. Dropped an earring and looked under bed...

41 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
The location was great. The front desk man was very nice. But we were very upset because the room had no number on the door, one of the security locks on the door was not working, it was a non smoking room that smelt like smoke, the bathroom did not seem clean, the sheets were way too small for the mattress, we noticed several fire extinguishers missing in the hallways where they should have been and one of the outside card key doors was not working and so people kept propping it open. Most disturbingly, an email to the company stating my safety concerns went unanswered.
I am not likely
to return to the Super 8 St Joseph MO.
I would not recommend it to friends.
