Booked a King, checked in and got a Queen. Told that was all that was left, got into room and it turned out to be a handicap room. I did not like that. Breakfast consisted of coffee, juices, toast and a 2-pack muffins that had been cut into single

The room was very old and run down. A chair was ripped and broken. The mattress was old and saggy. The quality of the room and furnishings was terrible. I also got bedbug bites from this motel.
I am not likely
to return to the Super 8 Springfield/Battlefield.
I would not recommend it to friends.

It was fine overall. I've never stayed at a bad Super 8. It was clean and appropriate for the price. But our online reservation was for two double beds. We got put in a room with one king.
To me, it's really all about a good night's rest, ice machine that works, TV that gets a few channels, etc. We don't live in the hotel. It's just a stopping place before, between, and after activities. So my expectations are minimal and for that, I expect to pay a lesser price.
I am very likely
to return to the Super 8 Springfield/Battlefield.
I might recommend it to friends.

The room was very heavily scented from deodorizing products, and the bed is worn. It was remodeled a year ago in the ad, but that doesn't fit reality. The room is stark and unwelcoming, and their staff is unfriendly.
