Several guests reservations lost or screwed up. Waited over 50 minutes to get a room. Wanted to charge full rate because reservations lost. Got room but at higher price! Might not be totally their fault. But still tried to overcharge quoted rate!
Dear Customer,I sincerely apologize for your experience. While your experience is not acceptable, I want to assure you we did everything we could. The wait was caused by a reservation company *Alliance**, who had sent their customers to us without reserving rooms with us. On that day we had about 40-50 people we were trying to accommodate. If you were one of these customers, I apologize for your experience and encourage you to contact your travel agent and ask why you were not notified of your reservation status. We had updated them of all the reservations we had in our systems from their clientele list and advised them to make arrangements for their customers not covered under our contract. Obviously they did not contact their customers and we ended up accommodating them.
