28 year old with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
my stay was during a weekend of a couple weeks ago.
sorry that everyone had such bad experiences! maybe i was just a lucky one. i stayed here for one night. i requested for a quiet area if possible.
during check-in and check-out times, there were two different men and they were both professional, friendly and courteous. as in, they didn't say anything inappropriate or rude. thats major bonus points for any place, including high end hotels.
anyways, we stayed in a room with a queen sized bed. the bed was OK, but then again, its a super 8 motel, so i can't be expecting the marriott quality here. the room key worked well - no problems. the room smelled and looked clean and organized. it looks like the walls were recently repainted, new toilet installed, new granite bathroom countertop placed. the faucet was working well. bathroom fan and heater were functioning well. as always the blankets seemed a bit on the thin side, but once again, most hotels are like that... still a peeve of mine. our room also had a refrigerator. there might have been a microwave, but i forgot. we didn't use these items during this stay, so i don't know if they were functioning. and... the outlets were working? the blowdryer was working well too.
for whatever reason, i couldn't sleep well that night, even though i was really tired from driving 400 miles. i don't know. it was quiet around our room. yes, there were other guests staying at this motel.
i have very sensitive skin, meaning that it is easy for me break out in hives. this is relevant information because at my motel stay here, i DID NOT get any bug bites or rashes whatsoever. normally, i do not rash after hotel stays, but it does happen from time to time.
judging by my stay, everything pretty much went well..... and i'm a major complainer!! i would stay here again if i needed to.

Horrible
Based on their past reviews I expected a great hotel but I was sadly disappointed. The pool was unheated and freezing cold. The staff was unhelpful and said "you get what you pay for". The hotel is about 30 years old and my room was well worn and ...

Okay
Hotel is close to the events we attended.Pool was not in the best shape. It is what you should expect for a one-star hotel. Inexpensive with no frills. Dated facilities, but adequate.
I stayed here in early June and it was a pleasant stay. I had no overall complaints and the front desk staff was very helpful. The amenties you get in your rooms is worth the money. I looked at the motel prices in the area and this one is one of...
