Super 8 Motel South Hackensack

It was my worst experience in a Hotel. I usually dont go for these motels. But my bad time, I chose this one. The stay spoiled my trip.

Someone knocked my room door in the midnight so hard that they literally opened the door themselves..

It was so awful and scaring. When I enquired, the receptionist said it was the room cleaner who knocked at the wrong room. This happened thrice. I lost my sleep and the service so very poor.

Please stay away from this hotel would be my sincere advice to all.

That motel is so horrible.. The toilet was not working.. They seemed like they didn't clean the hotel... No one was courteous and worse of all .. Me and my partner have bed bug bites. They were on both bed.. Horrible.. Stay away.. Please don't stay here..

This was the absolute most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in. We had 3 rooms and they were all horrible. They were dirty, including the linens, pillows, and mattresses. The bathroom door would not close, there was an old cup of coffee in the microwave, and there was a large rip in the carpet. Under that rip in the carpet, we found drug paraphenelia. We immediately called the front desk to discuss this. They sent someone up to talk to us. That person sprayed air freshener in the room and left. He did not remove the drug paraphenelia, or even try to correct the problem. Additionally, when we turned on the television, there was pornography on. Fortunately, we did not have any kids with us. We then realized that hanging on the wall was a switch to change the television from regular t.v. to pornography. We addressed all of these concerns with the front desk, but nothing was ever done about them. We tried to find another hotel, but there was no vacancy anywhere, so we were stuck, as we were in NJ to attend a concert. The Super 8 Motel corporate office never returned phone calls I placed regarding this experience. Please do not make the same mistake as we did.

The room looked like it had not been cleaned after the last occupants had stayed in it. There was plaster on the carpet. The carpet had not been vacuumed. There were stains on the sheet on the bed including a brown stain that looked like it was a blood stain. The shampoo provided looked it had been opened. The towels had not been replaced. The toilet would not flush properly. No remote was provided for the television. In short, this motel was not worth the price we paid.

The staff was kind and courteous. They went above and beyond what was expected by giving a discounted rate on the only room they had left which was a suite with a hot tub in it. The room was clean, comfortable, and very pleasant to stay in.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: The bed was extremely comfortable, as well as the furniture in the room. And using the Spa in the room and being able to watch TV while sitting in the spa was very relaxing.
