We were disappointed

67 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
The floor was filthy even though the room hadn't been used the day before we arrived. (One of the workers on the remodel project stayed there for about a week.)
They cleaned it at our request. A doorknob was very loose, and we asked that it be repaired. The washcloths were very thin and scratchy. We were there 3 or 4 days, and never were we given the proper number of towels without asking. The management responded kindly at each request, but these are things we shouldn't have to ask for.
We are not planning to return.

The hotel had a pleasant and helpful staff. It was in the process of being remodeled, but I still had a good experience.
This hotel made me feel important: They were accommodating for the room set. I needed a handicapped room and they provided that need.
