If you are on a budget and just want the basics, this is all right, but do check the room out first. We were unfortunate to get a room that may have previously had cats as occupants. The area is very safe, there’s a great Szechwan restaurant across road to the left, they have excellent food and prices. The location is great, easy to use trains and buses leave from the station nearby, and will take you all over LA. for three dollars.

This hotel was beautiful. The city is nice and by far this is a great place to stay to get your money’s worth. The pool is wonderful. They have a washer and dryer, two soda machines, one vending machine, all on the premises with restaurants and other attractions within walking distance. The rooms are very clean with microwaves and refrigerators and a free breakfast is served in the lobby. You feel comfortable staying at this hotel like a small substitute to your house.

It was very run down, the smoke alarm kept going off, and the alarm clock worked intermittently.
