Super 8 Motel Mesquite

I had a wonderful stay, rooms were clean, everyone was helpful and friendly, pool was clean, I would gladly send anyone there. It was a very comfortable place to stay.

The service and the special rates that the hotel charged us were wonderful. You see, we had evacuated to Mesquite from New Orleans because of Hurricane Katrina. What was supposed to be a hurricane holiday turned into a month long stay. We were grateful for all that the employees did to make us comfortable as we waited out the results of the devastation in the Gulf Coast area. We remained at the hotel for a month before we could secure more permanent housing. They allocated the conference and break room as a place for local churches to set up dinners, and they also allocated space for donations to evacuees. I was heartened also to see the AAA decal on the door, for I knew that meant excellent service!

I loved the fact that they offered us a hurricane rate while there, and allowed those in the community to come in and offer help. I wished to have internet access, though.

This hotel made me feel content: The room service was pretty good considering they were filled to capacity for a number of days. We paid a fair price for a room that included two beds, an air conditioner and a diverse array of satellite channels.
