The room we were in the first night had a pair of lady's dirty underwear hanging on the shower curtain rod when we arrived. Later that night we saw a mouse in the bathroom. The next day we had more people arriving who would be in another room and we asked to change rooms. There were other people in the lobby when we asked and we didn't want to make a scene about the mouse. Mgmt. said they would see what could be done. Later that day we called and they said we would be in the same room. We told them about the mouse and the underwear, they said they spent 2 hours cleaning the room that day. We said, fine and just took it. The additional room that we got for the extra people joining us wasn't any better. We killed a roach that was climbing up the wall and two times found a bug in one of the beds. The last day I killed one of the bugs on the bed and bright, red blood squirted out on the sheets. The bug was obviously some sort of blood sucker. Don't think it was a bed bug because it was a little too large to be a bed bug but whatever it was...it had been feasting on someone!! Also, they advertise that they are AAA approved (even on the Super 8 website it says they are). When we got home we checked with AAA to see what their rating was for the hotel and they are NOT AAA approved. We have called Super 8's Corporate office to complain.
