We enjoyed our stay at the Nevada Super 8 motel, and would definately stay there again. The motel was clean, and the front desk attendant was very helpful.

The room (2 beds) was very spacious. The bathroom was not cramped, and both were clean. We asked for non-smoking, got a non-smoking floor (2nd), and indeed there's no whiff of smoke. (The lobby, alas, was pretty smoky. But who spends time there?) The price can't be beat: $48, or $44 with senior discount (Sunday night). I've stayed in lots of no-name motels in small towns that were worse and more expensive. The restaurant has good solid food with a price comparable to Denny's, quality and quantity better, and only the faintest hint of smoke.

OK, so there are dings on the walls. But if you can't forgive that, find a different chain. For what it is, it's great. I should mention, for those who like the Strip, it's a ways away. And they ask for your ID with your credit card - even in the restaurant! And the parking lot feels seedy, but that's the neighborhood not the motel. I don't gamble so I can't rate the casino.

I am very likely to return to the Super 8 Motel Las Vegas.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

44 year old woman with a luxury budget, traveling for business

The hotel staffer who made my reservation promised me internet access in the room, which was a necessity for my business trip. When I arrived, I found out that he was still months away from installing it. I asked for assistance in finding access or another place to stay. No assistance was given, the staff was rude, and the customer service number I was referred to gave no assistance. In spite of a formal letter promising action, there was never any further communication from the chain. In addition, the non-smoking room was filled with foul smoke each time the bathroom light was turned on. The heater did not work. There was a considerable amount of noise from the hall. This was an entirely unpleasant place to stay, and the response I got from the staff and the chain headquarters was inexcusable. You shouldn't even think about staying there.

I am not likely to return to the Super 8 Motel Las Vegas.
I would not recommend it to friends.

21 year old woman with a economy budget, traveling for leisure

After a very long flight, we arrived at the hotel. We were not even greeted by the receptionists. They then told us they couldn't check us in at the present time and that we should come back in fifteen minutes.

We came back thirty minutes later with luggage and everything and they then told us that the problem was still not fixed. They didn't even ask to keep an eye on our heavy luggage or put them somewhere safe, so we had to take it all the way back to the car.

We then went to a restaurant and after an hour when we went back they finally checked us in, which also took a long time. They were very unfriendly and barely acknowledged us. A continental breakfast was included and when we went down to breakfast the next morning all there was were some muffins, coffee, orange juice and Danish pastries. The Danish pastries tasted very old. We asked them where the tables were to sit down and eat and their response was "Oh we don't have any, you're welcome to use the reception couch".

Put off by the idea of eating at the front door of the hotel where all the guests came in, we decided to eat in our hotel room.

Mediocre
travelinparks icon In need of a remodel

This hotel is very convenient to Sam's Town (across the street). It is in bad need of a remodel. The elevators bounce to a stop, and the outside of the elevators on the second floor is put back together with a piece of plywood. There are tons of places where people have scratched their names into the elevators. The attached casino is a cute little homey place, not crowded at all. This would be an affordable place to stay, but since the staff wasn't friendly at all and Sam's town and RV park is across the street with tons of neat things to see and do and very nice staff, I would not stay at the Super 8.

I am not likely to return to the Super 8 Motel Las Vegas.
I would not recommend it to friends.
