Super 8 Motel Iowa Falls Motel - Page 1

From Minute of Check in it was bad I should have cancled my reservations and left. I made reservations three weeks in advance. I reserved joining rooms. When I checked in I was allready checked in. I did not call ahead to have them check us in. I was not checked in to joining rooms. when I asked if they were I was told no and I asked to be put in joing rooms I was told they didn't have any. Both rooms smelled badly. Don't know what the smell was but it was bad. I needed a baby bed and it was broke. When I asked for one that wasn't broke the clerk rolled her eyes and huffed but she got one for me. In one of my rooms there was sexual things left in room from guest before us. Air quit working through the night. I tried to call front desk no answer. I went to the front desk no one was there. I rang bell and no one came. I went back to my room very upset. I got up later in the night and went out side and when I walked thru lobby there was some oe checking in. I spoke with the guest when he was outside and found out that they didn't have reservations and he got the joining rooms upstairs. The indoor heated pool was like swimming in ice water. When asked why was it so cald I was told they don't turn the heater on in the summer. But the water should not be ice cold. I will never stay at this hotel again.

VERY HELPFUL. I AM HANDICAPPED AND THE FRONT DESK GENTEMEN TOOK MY LUGGAGE TO MY ROOM. AND WITH OUT ME ASKING CALL TO SEE IF I NEEDED ANYTHING ELSE. I WANTED A SODA SO HE WALK TO THE OTHER END OF THE HOTEL AND GOT IT FOR ME. THE ROOM WAS SO CLEAN AND SMELLED SO NICE. HOUSEKEEPERS WERE SO NICE IN GETTING MORE TOWELS. WHEN I CHECK OUT EVERYTHING WAS READY FOR ME AND THE GIRLS CALLED ME BY NAME LIKE I WAS A REGULAR GUEST.. I WILL DIFFENENTLY GO BACK. THEY MADE ME FEEL LIKE FAMILY...

we like to stay this totaly refinished super 8 iowa falls.we love this hotel. very clean and friendly staff, great services,comfortable new beds, and heated pool.we recommend to all to stay this hotel.

Every room they put me in smelt like mold!

We checked into a very cold room, turned on some heat, and out came the cockroaches. We gathered the "evidence" and showed it to the desk boy, and he immediately acknowledged they knew of the "problem."

We then immediately checked out but were told we couldn't get a refund until the next morning when a manager would be there, and that took a police escort to the facility to get that accomplished. The Iowa Falls police have filed criminal charges against the employees for misusing credit card information. It was very scary, and very disgusting!
