We had a reservation at the Super 8 in Hermitage, near Nashville.
We were four children, two adults, and we reserved two rooms. We were told they have an indoor pool, and connecting rooms. We got there to check in and asked about the pool and we were told it had a crack and was being repaired, but we could go to one on 720 Royal Parkway. The rooms would also have refrigerator. We called and told them we were coming.
When we got there the halls smelled like smoke, and there was no refrigerator. In one room, the floors were dirty, and we had to pay $8 extra a night. There was a sign on the pool door saying that the pool room was closed. I asked and they said it was open. It was barely warm, murky looking, and the hot tub was barely warm.
The next night when we were going to swim it said closed, and was bolted shut. I asked who would know when it will open again, and I was told sometime after 9:00 in the morning, the manager would be there, but we had to be out at 11:00. We paid for an indoor pool. We traveled an extra half hour for an indoor pool! We were very disappointed. We felt bamboozled! We really felt like the pool had been opened just so we would check in, then they closed it.
