Super 8 Motel Hancock Motel - Page 1

Needed a place between Breezewood and Berkeley Springs to crash for the night. Wanted to stay in Berkely Springs but in the middle to tourist season I can't afford to. This hotel's proximity to Berkeley Springs has driven its price up much higher than the hotel's true value.

The room was kinda dirty, didn't smell very good, and had some things in disrepair, but I was just needing a place to crash.

Pricey crash pad at the sixty some dollars they got me for.

This hotel met my needs, which were admittedly not demanding. After biking the C&O 62 miles from Cumberland, all I wanted was a clean room with a bed, toilet and a shower. Anything else would have been a waste. The included breakfast was fine, although I, along with some other guests, would have liked it to be available before 7 am. We were permitted to take our bikes into the room with us.

The parking lot was tiny and it did not easily accommodate a truck with a trailer. The front desk lady was pretty frazzled. The breakfast was lame, it was not fresh and it had no variety. The internet connection did not work in our room. We had to go down the hall and sit in the stairwell.
