Super 8 Motel Glendive Motel - Page 1

I had been driving all night and was tired so pulled over at the first hotel I saw, which was this Super 8 hotel. Unfortunatley, the only room availabe was a smoking room. The room was extremely smelly and not that clean. I also thought that it was very high priced for a single room. The hotel lobby and entrance is very nice, but the hallways and rooms need a bit of work.

This hotel chain is consistent wherever you go.

It was a bad experience. There were problems with billing; online it wasn't clear, and the add-on web page was misleading about breakfast. The rooms were dirty, dumpy and old, and the clerk was more interested in talking on the phone and with her boyfriend than helping or answering questions. The breakfast listed in the ad was no more than coffee, toast and English muffins in a store-bought bag, and the donuts were old, stale, and could have been better if purchased at 7-11. My stay during the prior night in another city advertised breakfast and was in a restaurant. The Super 8 ad stated that there were restaurants on-site, and there were, but they were not affiliated -- that was very misleading. I will never stay there again and will discourage anyone from ever staying there.

This hotel made me feel practical: I didn't need anything fancy so it served its purpose just fine.
