Super 8 Motel Fernley

They charged a safe charge, for the safe in the room. It was not until after I got home and checked the bill that I noticed the safe charge. There was a sign at the check in about the charge but it was pretty misleading. They refused to take it off after we arrived home saying we agreed to it since we did not request it be taken off prior to checking out. This could be a reason not to stay in the future.

It beats most Motel 6's any day for cleanliness, room size and comfort, and amenities, such as continental breakfast, in-room coffee, two sinks, floor space to exercise, and so on. I just have a complaint about the too small, cramped bathrooms in Super 8's.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: The beds were comfortable and large, and the sheets smelled fresh.

The room was large and comfortable. A big, long countertop and mirror around the sink, with the sink being in a separate dressing area was especially nice. It was clean, the staff was friendly and the morning breakfast had good choices. It is next to a Chevron car wash and convenience store, and the steak restaurant across the parking lot smelled so good I wanted to eat there, even though I rarely eat beef. Also, you can see it from the freeway, but I was not bothered by freeway noises. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel made me feel elegant: It was the large countertop and lighted mirror, with the sink in the dressing area, which is so much better than in the cramped bathroom. Also, a coffeemaker and supplies were nice touches. The overall spaciousness of the room also could be called elegant.
