45 year old woman with a economy budget

This is a nice place to stay with reasonable prices for the area. The staff here are always accomodating and willing to go the "extra mile". There's always a beautiful assortment of pastries and beverages in the morning. The rooms are always clean and neat and the bath towels are soft and snowy white. The rooms are very large with large television, microwave and refrigerator/freezer, and my favorite - WIFI! I would recommend Motel 8 in El Cajon to everyone!

40 year old man with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

Check-in was painfully slow. The neighborhood is dangerous. There were teens smoking pot on the balcony. The fighting started around 3 am, and the police were still investigating the incident at 8 am.

The non-smoking room had been in the not so distant past, a smoking room.

I am not likely to return to the Super 8 Motel El Cajon.
I would not recommend it to friends.

It is a cheap hotel with comparable value.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Super 8 Motel El Cajon.
I would not recommend it to friends.
