Super 8 Motel Douglas Motel - Page 1

The room was clean. That's about the only positive thing. The hallway, and around building itself, was dirty and before we got to the room, we rolled our eyes and wondered what the room would be like. The room itself was the cleanest Super 8 I've ever been in. The shower was horrible. Burst of cold water every 10-30 seconds. Sometimes lasting 2 seconds, sometimes up to a minute. We were on the first floor, and the bathroom ceiling had a trap door in it that was half open as well as horribly gross looking. The shower head was also very discusting with crud all over it. I almost considered not showering at all.

It has a horrible smell to it. It was windy and rainy, and we had to turn the heat on because the wind came right thru the window, and the curtains blew the entire time.

The coffee pot smelled like it had never been cleaned at all. The refridgerator did not get cold.

For $70, this was not worth the money, and I won't stay here again.

It was alright.

They were nice and sent us back an item that we had left in the motel room.
