Super 8 Motel Columbus Motel - Page 1

I expect good service from a hotel, but to be honest I don't usually stay at economy hotels. I was absent minded in booking my reservation and ended up with no where to stay and had to go with the one room that was left at the Super 8 and boy am I glad I did. This hotel changed my outlook on economy hotels. They were so nice and friendly and my room was immaculate. I will definately make Super 8 in Columbus Nebraska my first choice when going there!!! GREAT VALUE GREAT PEOPLE AND VERY CLEAN!!!

A problem got straightened out and they did apologize. They put someone else in the room we had already checked into and removed our items, which took some time to locate.

The hotel is convenient, with easy access and it is priced right.

I made my reservation directly with the manager and was assured of a handicapped-accessible room; they had only one. Upon check-in, I was advised that the room had been rented to a non-handicapped person the day before because he was a regular. We were put in non-handicapped room. This was very bad as I am unable to get up and down off low areas without the assistance of bars, etc. This was very inconvenient for us and inconsiderate of the manager when I had made the reservation months in advance so I could have the handicapped-accessible room. I had even advised him that if the room was not available I would call someplace else in town to book. The room they gave me had candy wrappers all over floor, and the next day it was only partially cleaned as trash was not taken out and was left on floor and in trash cans in the room.
