Super 8 Motel Blanding Motel - Page 1

I saw a couple with kids who came to the breakfast rooms and there was nothing there. The clerk did not even offer to tell them where they may have breakfast.

Apparently saving a few bucks on milk is worth it for these people

The hotel is very easy to find, right off the highway. Plenty of parking. Unfortunately no elevator; had to lug up a heavy suitcase to the second floor. Interestingly, the entire complex is nonsmoking, which is fine with me. But the extras need to be improved. The breakfast is the bare minimum; just Cheerios for cereal selection, no fruit, just 2 gallons of milk available (one was already empty but the time I got down there around 7 am, and I wouldn't be surprised that when the other was also empty there just wouldn't be any more), the orange juice tasted very watered down, etc. The jacuzzi was out of order too. And this isn't a cheap motel! Nevertheless, the room was spacious and clean. The bed was OK, but not very comfy as some others I've experienced in Super 8s. Our room phone didn't work; when we reported it, the front desk said that often happens. There was also a phone in the bathroom, but we didn't check that. Overall, it was an OK stay, I wasn't concerned about my safety at all, even though we really had to pull on the door to lock our room, but still I would prefer staying elsewhere. But keep in mind that you ARE in the middle of the desert. Family Dollar is right across the street, so is another food store, so it's very easy to pick up snacks--or create your own breakfast!

Motel 8's are reasonably priced, and are convenient in our travels.

This hotel made me feel content: They are comfortable.

We just stayed in the motel to use the showers. It was fine, but near the road, so traffic could be heard.
