Super 8 Motel Bedford

The carpet had burrs throughout the room--a very unwelcome surprise in the middle of the night. At check out, we could not give a copy of the receipt. We were promised a shuttle to the hotel, only to find that the shuttle driver did not show, despite calls from the front desk. The clerk refused to call the manager to help with the situation saying that "he won't answer the phone." She ordered a taxi, which arrived late, refused credit cards, only accepted cash, and charged $60 to drive 5 minutes to the airport. I do not recommend this motel, and I do not recommend that arrangements for rides be made with Cowboy Cab & Ranger Cab Co. in the DFW area.

I booked a room on line and secured with my major credit card and was given a confirmation number. You can check the current online add on this Super 8. They say pets welcome. We have a small well behaved Winier dog. We were turned away with no apology because they decided to change their policy without telling anyone. I was stuck finding another motel with no help from Bedford. It reminded me of some third world country. The clerk was rude and would not give me a phone number to reach the manager. I showed her their own add about pets and she flipped me off with "well it's a mistake". I will never stay in the Super 8 at Bedford and hope anyone who reads this won't either.

We always stay at Super 8 due to the value and comfort of the room. Our last stay was disappointing because the bathroom was not clean when we arrived.

The location was convenient. The staff was courteous and professional. The rooms were clean and nice.
