46 year old woman with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
I have stayed here several times in the past and this is the first time I have had a bad experience. I booked the hotel on line and when I went to check in I was told to pay a different rate than what was quoted me on line. I was told this was because I was using their complimentary Park and Fly, which they then charged me $12 for. Now I'm not sure but I always understood complimentary to mean free..Not so much I guess. Then when we returned I had a similar check in situation happen where I had again been given one price on line and upon checking in was asked to pay a higher price. This time the story was that I couldn't pay the AAA rate if I was using their complimentary Park and Fly...Humm didn't I already pay to use this. Then the icing on the cake was when I asked where my car was because I noticed it wasn't where I had parked it. The owner's reply was that it was at the front or back of the building (well duh..do you think). When my neice went out to look she could not find it so the owner sent her husband to look and a few minutes later I see him driving it up this grassy embankment. He looks a little sheepish when he sees me standing there so I figure he's looking this way for a reason. I take my car down to the garage and give it a good looking over and find a big nick in the paint of my Camry. So to me this fellow moved my car without my permission and my car ended up with a good size nick in the paint. Needless to say the owners would not take any responsibility for this. All in all the whole experience was a nightmare. The owners and staff were unfriendly and uncaring.

It is a nice place. I would stay there again. The hotel is good value for the money.
I am
somewhat likely
to return to the Super 8 Motel Bangor.
I
might recommend it to
friends.

59 year old man with a economy budget, traveling for business
It is a fairly good value for the money. This particular location can be difficult to find because their sign isn't big enough.
This hotel made me feel respected: The night clerk was awake and very pleasant when we checked in at midnight, unlike some of the other budget motels I've stayed at.
I am
very likely
to return to the Super 8 Motel Bangor.
I
would definitely recommend it to
friends.
