Honestly, I would not even give this hotel a 1.0/10 on the scale, more like -10. First off, don't be deceived by the "Close to Six Flags in an attractive neighborhood" bullsh**. As soon as you get off the Freeway and see the "Super 8" sign, you will see about three ghetto stripclubs and hookers walking the streets trying to make a dollar or two. As soon as you walk into the lobby, you smell a nasty mildew, smokey and hideous scent. Don't worry, it gets worse as you walk into your room. As I was walking down the hallway to my room, I was approached to buy illegal drugs. On top of that, I got a call from someone in another room stating "Just saw you enter your room and wanted to make sure you had everything you need" What in the bloody hell was that about? Tryin to make a drug sale. KIDS were running down the hallways at midnight and even at 1am...What kind of mother would let their kids do that....Any guesses..a crackhead mother.. This place is a sad reminder that people really need to get help. Please dont stay here.

33 year old woman with a economy budget

I took a weekend trip with my husband & my daughters just to get away. When we got to the hotel, non-smoking by the way, there was a heavy cigarrete smell in the hall way, it didnt look clean either. When we got to the rooms, they smelled like cigarrete smoke also. I was not pleased at all with that, just to begin. Then we checked out the room & it was not clean enough. To make matters worse, I found towels that were supposedly clean with dark stains on them, dry boogers & one of them even looked like it had the stain of blood or fesies. I was in shock at this point. My husband went to get clean towels and they all looked the same. When I was spraying the bed sheets, when I moved the covers I found a blood stain on the first, second & third sheet, on the same spot like they just left it there & I guess expected it to go away or disapeare. WHen I went to the pool area the water was brown, like bath water after you take a bath. This was too much, I took pictures, demanded my money back & got the hell out of there with my family. That experience was the worst I have ever hand in any hotel. It was more like a motel for prostitutes, not clean at all, very unsanitary, discusting!!!!! Will not recomend this hotel to nobody, I'm spreading the word.

This place was awful!! I booked off Triprewards. This place looks nothing like the pictures .I would say the same pictures on the Super 8 website also. We looked at the room it smelled so strong of pine. I guess to cover some other smell. The hookers outside saying Hi Babeeee and the sneaky looking people that came and stood around the parking area when we looked at the room was just to much. We canceled our room lost a night stay in money. I guess that is how they keep it open getting peoples money that doesn't want to stay in the trashy area and trashy motel. Please beware and please don't take can children to this place.

If Cheap Motels and Cheap Hookers are what your into this might be the place for you. Other wise STAY AWAY!!

I booked this hotel through trip rewards and expected that this hotel was in a great neighborhood. This was the worst area I have ever been at. Many gentlemen's clubs, and other adult stores in the area. I stopped at the hotel before, I went to Six Flags and upon entering there was a horrible smell, I did not check my room because my husband was rushing me and he told me we will check the room later. I stated that I do not feel comfortable with the area he said lets check it out later. When I stepped out of the hotel there were 2 cars with several suspicious looking people in the parking lot that stopped their activity when I came out of the hotel? Upon my arrival back to the hotel that evening I checked the room it was smelly, dirty, the tub was rusty and dirty to include the toilet. The soap was used by someone previously but they just wrapped the soap up. The carpet area was dirty, the entire condition of the room was in terrible conditions. I turned around and left the room and informed my husband that I refused to stay in the room, not only was the room in terrible condition but my son was not feeling well and with the terrible hotel room and overall odor I did not want to stay in the hotel. As I returned my keys to the front desk, another hotel guest was turning in their keys due to the poor condition of the room she was given. As we departed the hotel I saw 3 cars with a large group just hanging out. As soon as we departed the hotel we noticed several prostitutes in the street soliciting people. If you want a one night stand this is the hotel to be at, this is not a hotel for a family to stay in. I am very disappointed that Trip rewards has this hotel in their listing. I tried to get my points rewarded back to me but was given the run around by the Motel 8 complaint hotline and the Motel 8 staff. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Like the other reviewer stated, non-smoking is not defined here like any where else in the world. We booked a non-smoking and you could barely breathe.

When we spoke to management about it, they blew us off and refused to give us back our money. We had only walked upstairs and went straight back down, 20 minutes tops and had to pay for the room for the night.
