46 year old man with a economy budget, traveling for business

I got a free room there. This place was welcoming, because I was in bad shape and I could not drive back and forth from home.

I am very likely to return to the Super 8 Motel Alexandria.
I might recommend it to friends.

Safety on dangerous MacArthur Drive

46 year old woman with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

MacArthur Drive in Alexandria, LA is a scary place to have to rent a hotel room. It's very common to read in "The Town Talk" newspaper about gunpoint robberies at motels on this road. This Super 8, however, has a visible security presence to reassure its guests, and that's why I choose it every time I visit Alexandria/Pineville. The staff is courteous and welcoming and recognizes me as a repeat customer, which I appreciate. If you really do need to stay on MacArthur Drive, this is your wisest choice.

I am very likely to return to the Super 8 Motel Alexandria.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The hotel was average. The bed was really hard but typical. There were not enough outlets for charging cell phones and running laptops. Otherwise, it was okay and I would stay there again for the price.

This hotel made me feel respected: Since we were working at night and sleeping during the day, the room service personnel honored the Do Not Disturb sign. Check in and out was quick and easy.

I am very likely to return to the Super 8 Motel Alexandria.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

When I first entered the room, it didn't seem like it had been cleaned before my stay. Also, the toilet was backed up with a nasty condom, which my boyfriend at the time had to pick out.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Super 8 Motel Alexandria.
