The VIP card was important to our ease of check in and making reservations. Without it, we would/will probably not have stayed with them as often.
I like how they greeted you when you arrive, how they ask you if there was anything they could help us with. how they ask you if you needed any directions, etc.

The reservation was entered for the wrong night! The clerk at the front desk couldn't tell us if we were going to be charged. She really didn't seem to care whether we were there or not. We have stayed at other Super 8s with a much better result.
