This place is not run by Super 8 but is licensed to be run by an Indian man. The rooms are gross, dingy and smell. The other customers are shady characters. We moved to a nice Holiday Inn Express.

This particular hotel in East Lansing, had very unacceptable conditions. There was a cockroach in the tub, and a hole in the wall over my husband's bed. I would caution anyone from staying here. Also when my husband asked for his money back, the manager was very rude and would not refund our money. We had to call the corporate office and our credit card company to take care of the customer service issue.

This was the dirtiest, dumpiest motel I have ever stayed in.

We were in town for my son's lacrosse tournament and wanted an inexpensive, clean place to stay. The front desk attendent was rude, the room was dirty, reaked of smoke (even though it was supposedly a non-smoking room), there was no smoke detector (wires sticking out of the ceiling where it should have been), the lock on the window was broken and there was no screen. Stained mattresses, box springs and walls! Kids running up and down the hallway and yelling until 11:00 P.M. Non-working phone. I have stayed at several other Super 8 Motels in the past and have been satisfied, but this place was a dump!!

Ask to see the room first!. Was looking for a clean bed and a bathroom for a budget price. Not very clean, but otherwise fit the bill. Did have noise in the halls at all hours of the night on 3 of the 4 nights we were there. Before you commit to stay, have them show you the room. First room air conditioning didn't work, second room air conditioning worked but lots of light came in around the unit (afraid insects would join us).

The ground floor window lock was broken. I could hear people having relations late at night and in the early morning. Complaining to management did nothing. Management said we could stay again free, big deal. Corporate thought it had satisfactorily resolved the problem.
