I missed my flight at Laguardia and needed a place to sleep until my early morning flight. The Motel seemed clean, the room was very small, appeared clean but smelled of smoke. When i took a shower it appeared that the drain was clogged because the water didnt go down until I got up the next morning. The toilets werent properly cleaned and to top it all off, I woke up with bed bug bites!!!! Beware of this place!

Good
I stayed Feb 26-Mar 1st. Hotel is clean and staff friendly. The bath tub was a bit dirty but not real bad. The second floor is very noisy as that is where the maids closet is as well as the FREE continental breakfast every morning which was quite...

Easy access to Subway, 3 blks!. Clean hotel but woke up daily with rat poop on the ice traytable. Also, door key card had to be reactivated 3times during our 3day stay.
I am not likely
to return to the Super 8 JFK Airport NYC.
I would not recommend it to friends.

Thats the worst hotel/motel I have ever stayed with and I am surprised how EXPEDIA displays such an accommodation in its search list !!! I never expected EXPEDIA being such careless in its hotel selection process. The hotel management was a nuisance (especially the lady at the front desk). They even don't know (or I think they didn't care) how to treat/greet/ talk to their customers courteously !! ; not to talk about the room cleanliness. The very first day I wanted to get out of the hotel but I had already paid for it earlier through EXPEDIA and I didnt wanted to loose my hard earned money. I feel like cheated by both EXPEDIA and that hotel. I am really very dissatisfied with EXPEDIA given their negligence and that I have had my last four trips booked from their website. Now I really need to be very careful. I am very sorry to reveal this but I feel I must let other people not face the same harsh experience while staying at such a lowly hotel offered by EXPEDIA. So guys/ gals/ ladies and gents, please always disregard this SUPER 8 hotel/motel in Jamaica, New York.

It was the least expensive hotel room in the area. I just needed a room for one night. The customer service was good. The breakfast was good. The room was small but clean. The parking was limited, so I had to park on the street. This was not a big deal. If their parking lot was larger, I would have rated it a 10 out of 10.

Good
Super 8 in Jamaica was a nice hotel for the price. I think they could offer more amenities but the location was great and was only blocks away from transportation. I would stay in the hotel again.

Mediocre
On arrival our bathroom toilet was full of feces and would not flush. The maid should have caught this in prepping the room. The Manhattan shuttle mentioned in the blurb does not exist- we had to take the subway. We asked the front desk to call a ...
